Growing Young Disciples Who Reach UP, IN, and OUT

The mission of CTS Kids’ Ministry is to form young disciples who Reach UP to deepen their faith in Jesus, Reach IN to build a strong foundation of biblical knowledge and Christian community, and Reach OUT to serve and love others.

 

Nursery

Location: Lobby

We have a fully staffed nursery for infants through age 4 across from the sanctuary.  Parents are invited to utilize the nursery during either service.  The nursery is also open during special services and other church events.  The goal of the nursery is to provide a welcoming and caring environment for the youngest members of our community while parents worship and engage with God’s Word. Paid staff and CTS volunteers work together to provide care for children from infants through four years old. Parents are welcome to spend time in the nursery with their child on Sunday mornings to familiarize themselves with the space and help their child feel comfortable in a new environment.

 

 

CTS Kids Hour

Sunday Mornings
9:40–10:30 a.m. (Between Worship Services)
Location: Open Arms Child Development Center

CTS Kids’ Hour is our Sunday School ministry for children ages 5 through 5th grade, designed to help them grow as disciples of Jesus in a fun, Scripture-filled, and community-focused environment. CTS Kids’ Hour helps children learn the Bible, practice their faith, and understand why they believe. Children participate in music, large- and small-group time, Scripture memorization, and hands-on activities and games that encourage lasting friendships and a deeper relationship with Jesus.

 

 

JR Sermon

Sunday Mornings

8:30 & 10:45 a.m. Worship Services
Location: Celebration Hall

We encourage families to worship together and provide special children’s bulletins for each worship service. Children ages 5 through 5th grade are dismissed during the adult sermon to the Celebration Hall for Bible discovery, learning games, crafts, and prayer.  Bring your children to the Sanctuary to worship with you and then, just prior to the sermon, they will be dismissed to hear the Word on their level through a variety of age-level presentations. Before Holy Communion is celebrated the children re-join their families. If you would prefer your children remain with you throughout the service that is also welcomed.

 

 

Ministry at Open Arms

Chapels are offered every Wednesday at 9:30 AM for Preschool-age children and 10:00 AM for Toddler-age children.  Also for Preschool age on Thursdays at 2:30 PM.
