What time are services?
Sunday at 8:30 AM – Traditional Worship
Sunday at 10:45 AM – Contemporary Worship
How do I get there?
We are located at 4655 Webb Bridge Road – Alpharetta, GA 30005.
Parking is available on the west, east or front of our campus; handicap parking available on the west and front parking lots.
What kind of services do you offer?
8:30 AM TraditionalUses an ancient format (liturgy) with our Lutheran emphasis on the Gospel expressed in hymns, confession and creed, preaching and prayer, and the Lord’s Supper. Our music is enriched with the sound of organ and grand piano, as well as, classic instruments and vocal ensembles. |
10:45 AM ContemporaryUses many of the same elements from our traditional service but with a praise band and vocal team, drawing from many modern sources with a sprinkling of some great hymns of the church. |
What should I wear?
We don’t have a dress code, so wear what’s comfortable. Folks come dressed in a variety of ways,
from coat and tie to business casual to just plain casual. Everyone wears a smile.
Do you have a nursery?
A fully staffed nursery serves our children 4 years and younger for both services.
We have a FAMILY WORSHIP ROOM, a warm, clean environment designed to allow parents to watch the service live
while their children express themselves in their own way.
Where do my children go?
JR SERMON MINISTRY
Sunday mornings at 8:30 & 10:45 am
Bring your children with you to the 8:30 or 10:45 AM service and they will be dismissed at sermon time to explore God’s Word in a more age-appropriate format.
Sticky Faith Community
Sunday mornings at 9:40 AM
The purpose of the Sticky Faith Community is…to gather multiple generations, to form life-long followers of Jesus by engaging in God’s Word together. This redesign of the GIFT Community focuses on building the faith of Middle and High School Youth alongside a group of caring adults with the goal of developing a “sticky faith”, a faith that lasts through the college years and into adulthood. The Fuller Youth Institute study shows that “having godly parents is important, but so is having godly mentors.” Each youth needs at least five adults in their life to help them internalize their faith and keep it for a lifetime. We meet in the Celebration Hall from 9:40 to 10:35 AM.
Do you have anything for my teens?
Teens have several opportunities on Sunday mornings:
1. Attend Worship with their family – 8:30 & 10:45 AM
2. Sticky Faith Community meets at 9:40 AM in the Celebration Hall
During both worship services, youth are invited to serve in the various ministry roles available in the Sanctuary:
Ushers
Audio and Visual technicians
Café workers
Entry Welcome team
Cafe
Before and after worship folks gravitate toward the Café,
where coffee and friendship flow and homemade treats are enjoyed.
It’s fun and friendly.
